Pastor Larry and Debbie Elliott gave their lives to Jesus on February 2, 1975. Coming out of a life of drugs and rebellion. After being in and out of jail numerous times, facing 40 years in prison, the District Attorney said he'll never learn I recommend the maximum penalty of the law. Running with the Motorcycle Gangs in Phoenix, and L.A., where his best friend was stabbed and killed defending the mascot for the Hell's Angels. Sin and trouble followed him like a magnet.
As God dealt with them they bowed their knees and surrendered their lives to Christ, which not only put their lives, but their marriage back together again. It seems that Jesus was the only one that could change his cold, troubled heart. Instantly delivered from an addiction to meth, cocaine and other drugs. Larry soon heard the call of God on his life. Surrendering to that call he has Pastored and pioneered several churches in Az., Calif., and New Mexico. 1998 Pastor Elliott felt the call of God to the mission field, and responded to the Nation of Zambia, in the city of Kabwe. After launching a new work there they planted another in a nearby community of Bwatcha, Chimanimani. After 5 years returning to the US went into the evangelistic field for a short time, then went back to the Kingdom of Swaziland launching a church in the city of Manzini. After a few years he went into Tembisa, South Africa for several years before returning to the U.S. In 2011 Pastor Elliott took over the work in Tucson Az. where we see the gospel message of the Salvation of Jesus Christ preached. The burden to reach the world for Jesus Christ is still upon their hearts and believe strongly in giving to the mission fields that others might reach the world for Jesus. |
